About This Blog
Hi! I'm KY.
If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’re interested in Japanese manga—at least a little.
This blog is dedicated to introducing slightly lesser-known but truly amazing manga to readers outside Japan. Of course, everyone knows titles like One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, or Attack on Titan. But beyond those global hits, Japan is overflowing with incredible manga that many people have never heard of.
There’s just so much manga in Japan—some great, some not so great. The ones I feature here might even be unfamiliar to many Japanese readers. That’s exactly the point. This blog focuses on “hidden gems” and slightly minor works that deserve more love.
I’d like this blog to feel like a catalog of great manga. That’s why each article keeps the information fairly minimal. It might feel a bit short when you read it—but if you want more details, just leave a comment. I’ll definitely reply. These are manga I personally care a lot about, so I can talk about them passionately for hours.
I’m also on X (Twitter), so feel free to connect with me there as well.

Feel free to read casually and comment casually.
And if you’ve read all the manga featured here… congratulations. You’re officially a manga master. Honestly, there probably aren’t that many people in Japan who could say the same.
I’m thinking about starting a service where I personally buy manga in Japan and ship it to people who can’t easily get them in their own country. The price would include shipping plus a small service fee.
返信削除It would be much more reliable than ordering from a shady seller, and I can make sure the books are official (not pirated) and in clean, good condition.
If there’s a title you’ve been wanting but can’t find, feel free to message me. I’m still working out the detailed process and logistics, but I’d love to hear from you!
